Duration: 2 days + 1 Evening
Minimum age: 17+
Previous experience: Candidates should be competent to the standard of RYA Powerboat Level 2 powerboat handling with coastal endorsement. It is strongly recommended that candidates hold a first aid and VHF / SRC operators certificate.
Location: Based in Port of Poole Marina, in the heart of Poole Harbour, we can boast one of the best Powerboat training locations on the South coast of the UK. Onsite facilities include our Training Room, parking and changing facilities with showers.
Poole Harbour and the surrounding coastline provide the ideal training area with sheltered waters for initial learning, an array of buoyage and sandy beaches to practice anchoring and make for an all round great day out on the water.

Commercial Endorsment
While many RYA powerboat certificates are widely recognised, those intending to work professionally will require a Commercial Endorsement. On successful completion of the course and required prerequisites, candidates can apply for an RYA Commercial Endorsement, enabling them to operate powerboats commercially and providing added assurance for employers within the maritime and superyacht industries.
