Why take a Jet Ski Training Course? We have customers looking to do a jet ski course for a range of reasons, some require it to gain their ‘Jet Ski License’ as more areas in the UK and abroad are requiring evidence of this to use / launch a jet ski. Some of the lucky ones have just bought a new jet ski and would like to become more competent in using it and learn more about the environment they will be using it in and finally some just fancy extending their experience and time on the water on these fun watercraft.

RYA Powerboat Level 2
2 DAYS

This is a great course for anyone looking to get in to boating with little to no previous experience. Whether you are looking to buy a boat, drive a friends or potentially hire one, this course is the perfect opportunity to get out on the water and develop the necessary skills. Powerboat Level 1 is not required and this is our most common Powerboat Course.

RYA Powerboat Level 1
1 DAY

This one day course introduces the basic boating skills and is suitable for adults and children. However, it is not required to undertake the Powerboat Level 2.

2 DAYS

This course is aimed at people who have managed to get some experience out on the water at the controls of a powerboat and would like to develop their navigational skills to progress on to making longer passages.

RYA Advanced Powerboat Course
2 DAYS + 1 NIGHT

This course is generally undertaken by people looking to work commercially in the marine environment or experienced leisure boaters. The course focuses on night time navigation, rough water handling and search & rescue techniques. It can be combined with an advanced exam to complete the Advanced Commercial Endorsement.

RYA Superyacht Tender Operator
2 DAYS + 1 NIGHT

This course is designed for people working within the Superyacht Industry who would like to gain further powerboat skills. It covers night time navigation and passenger safety management to assist for future tender driving roles on board.

Do I need a licence to drive a Jetski or Powerboat?

Whilst at this stage many places in the UK do not require a Jet Ski licence / Powerboat licence, we would always recommend attending some form of RYA Training to build up skill and competence levels. Even though this is the current status in the UK, Jet ski regulations in foreign countries can be much stricter.
